Accuracy for asphalt milling
The GD 8 control unit is an option for asphalt milling cutters. With this control unit it is possible to control width and depth of the milling grooves. With the automatic function of the control unit the blade of the working machine automatically descends to milling position and ascends to driving position accurately according to the distance drived. The driver does not have to stop the working machine for descending and ascending the blade, therefore the GD 8 control unit takes the machine´s efficiency to a new level.
The GD 8 control device makes it easy to mill grooves to the asphalt for road markings with the right depth, length and distance from each other.
Registration of data
During milling the GD 8 control unit automatically saves the milled distance and square meters. This data can be easily read on the control unit display by milling cutter types.
