Printed circuit board assembly
In the manufacturing of production series, we use subcontractors to mount and solder components on printed circuit boards by using high-quality automatic production lines.
We buy components competitively via our wide supplier network and we store the components in amounts deemed necessary. Therefore, we have good security of supply even if the availability of the components is temporarily decreasing.
When manufacturing prototypes, we can manufacture individual pieces entirely, which speeds up product development process.
Versatile production work
Tieto-Oskari Oy’s own production team manufactures the products starting from assembled circuit boards and mechanical parts onward.
After manufacturing electrical and mechanical parts, the typical process proceeds with downloading the software, assembling mechanical parts, testing and documentation.
In case of manufacturing measuring devices, they are calibrated. If necessary, devices are subjected to environmental testing. We are able to perform either standardized testing procedures or tests determined by the customer, in which the temperature can vary between -70 … +190 °C and the humidity between 10 … 90 %RH.
3D printing in product development and production
Tieto-Oskari Oy utiliz 3D printing in product development and production for several years. 3D printing enables the rapid production of prototype series, allowing us to easily and quickly test and fit new models before mass production.
We also leverage 3D printing in the production of both our own devices and those manufactured for our clients. 3d printing providing clear advantages in the fabrication of device components. We can manufacture flexible, rigid, transparent, and biodegradable pieces from a variety of materials. The limitations of traditional manufacturing methods do not hinder 3D printed components and offering our designers new opportunities to better meet the needs of our customers.
What used to be done manually is now achieved through printing. We can manufacture parts and products much faster, more accurately, and with greater precision.
